Join Our Team as a Quality Technician – Day Shift (Future Transition to Evening Shift)

Location: Chambersburg, PA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Will transition to Evening Shift in the future!)

What You’ll Do

As a QA Technician, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and safety of our products by:

  • Conducting routine quality checks on raw materials, in-process items, and finished goods
  • Performing sensory evaluations (taste, texture, appearance)
  • Using lab equipment for chemical and physical testing
  • Monitoring production lines for quality and food safety compliance
  • Recording, documenting, and reporting quality results and deviations
  • Investigating customer complaints and supporting product trials
  • Assisting in audits and ensuring compliance with HACCP, GMP, and FDA standards
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement

What You Bring

  • Prior experience in food manufacturing or QA (snack food experience a plus)
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team-based environment
  • Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to a culture of quality and innovation

Work Environment:

This role is hands-on in a production environment, which may involve:

  • Standing for extended periods
  • Working in temperature-variable or noisy conditions
  • Rotating to an evening shift in the future as the company grows
