Job summary

Groupe Bonduelle Fresh Americas in Jackson, MS is seeking a QA Tech 1 to support quality assurance in a plant environment. The role focuses on finished goods checks, sampling for Hold & Release, and ensuring compliance with GMP, HACCP, PPE, and sanitation guidelines.

You will perform product sampling, log results, conduct seal integrity tests, identify non-conformances, and assist with shiftstart tank maintenance.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English; basic math comprehension.
• GED/High School Diploma is required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist QA in maintaining GMP/PPE/Safety and HACCP compliance.
• Perform product sampling and follow PCT sampling procedures.
• Sample finished products for Hold & Release; log and submit tests.
• Conduct seal integrity tests and adjust equipment for 100% compliance.
• Identify non-conformances and report to supervisors.
• Log leaks, non-conformances, and samples in QA database.
• Assist with start-of-shift tank cleaning and water level checks.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
