Job summary

Belvac is seeking a working supervisor to lead the Quality Assurance team across multiple facilities. You will direct inspectors and metrology staff, ensuring compliance with quality systems and driving continuous improvement.

The role focuses on planning, release, calibration, and corrective actions to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. Bring 3+ years in QA leadership in manufacturing, strong GD&T knowledge, and proficient MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory or Quality Inspection Lead role experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of inspection methods, techniques and metrology equipment.
• Working knowledge on a wide variety of measuring instruments, GD&T and risk assessment.
• Must possess computer skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and business operating systems.
• Effective supplier relations and experience.
• Good communications skills, effective customer service and demonstrated leadership ability required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA inspectors, programmers and metrology across sites.
• Schedule work hours and daily activities to meet OTD goals.
• Manage quality inspection and product release for incoming and in-process materials.
• Develop inspection plans including 100% inspection, AOL sampling and/or dock to stock.
• Maintain gage calibration and QMTS records; support ISO9001 audits.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Mentor QA staff and manage performance reviews.
