Job summary

Belvac seeks a working supervisor to lead the Quality Assurance team, overseeing inspectors, programmers and metrology across multiple facility sites. You will drive a customer-first mindset while enforcing quality to ensure compliance with QMS and continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires managing NCRs, supplier relations, calibration, and Buy-off activities, with ISO9001 support and cross-functional collaboration in a manufacturing environment in Lynchburg, VA.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or certified apprenticeship, relevant Quality Management experience.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory or QA lead experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with inspection methods, GD&T and metrology equipment.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and business systems.
• Strong supplier relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise QA team across multiple facility sites and schedule work hours.
• Maintain QA and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials.
• Develop inspection plans including 100% inspection and sampling as needed.
• Build metrology labs with equipment, fixtures and standards.
• Support ISO9001 audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage NCRs, disposition, and corrective actions in QMTS.
• Oversee gage calibration, tooling, and non-conforming material control.
• Coordinate Buy-off processes and customer-facing QA signoffs.
