Job summary

Belvac is seeking a Supervisor, Quality Assurance in Lynchburg, VA to lead the QA team, coordinate inspections, and drive continuous improvement. The role involves supervising inspectors, metrology staff, and programmers; scheduling work across multiple sites; and ensuring adherence to quality management standards while maintaining customer-focused quality processes.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of supervisory QA experience in manufacturing, strong GD&T and metrology skills, and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years supervisory or Quality Inspection Lead role experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of inspection and quality control methods, techniques and metrology equipment.
• Working knowledge on a wide variety of measuring instruments, GD&T, and risk assessment.
• Must possess computer skills; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and business operating systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Quality Assurance team of inspectors, programmers and metrology across multiple facility sites.
• Schedule work hours and direct daily activities to achieve on-time delivery and quality targets.
• Support ISO 9001 certification and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage NCRs and disposition through QMTS, including supplier-related non-conformances.
