Echo Lake Foods in Burlington, WI, is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to lead plant‑level food safety and quality activities, supervise QA Technicians, and ensure regulatory and customer standards are met. The role emphasizes hands‑on QA in food manufacturing, strong leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration to support safe and compliant production.

The ideal candidate has QA experience in food manufacturing, knowledge of sanitation, and familiarity with regulatory programs.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of food plant sanitation programs and processes.
• Knowledge of microbiological testing and analyses.
• Strong communication, analytical, and math skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and direct Quality Assurance Technicians, including scheduling and coverage.
• Oversee all in-plant food safety and quality activities and training programs.
• Monitor HACCP critical control points daily and support HACCP plan updates.
• Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Verify labeling, date coding, packaging accuracy, and product compliance.
• Evaluate organoleptic attributes to ensure product standards.
• Support regulatory program requirements (FDA, USDA, WDATCP, etc.).
• Develop procedures (SOPs/SSOPs) to improve safety, sanitation, and performance.
• Assist with certifications including GFSI (SQF), FSMA, CN, Organic, and others.
