Job summary

Echo Lake Foods, a Burlington, Wisconsin-based producer of ready-to-eat egg products, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead shift production, safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role collaborates with QA, Maintenance, Sanitation, and Warehouse to ensure compliant, efficient operations across multiple lines.

Qualified candidates bring 2+ years in food manufacturing leadership, strong GMP/HACCP knowledge, and bilingual Spanish communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in food manufacturing or production leadership.
• Strong working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, CCP/CP monitoring, and food safety.
• Bilingual in Spanish (read, write & speak) required.
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive results, and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to read, interpret, and enforce SOPs and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee production teams, ensuring staffing and workload distribution.
• Lead daily safety and production target meetings.
• Ensure equipment is started, operated, and shut down per SOPs.
• Manage production flow to meet schedule and minimize downtime.
• Monitor KPIs and drive improvements.
• Ensure products meet specs: weight, dimensions, packaging, coding, traceability.
• Enforce corrective actions for out-of-specs and CAPA.
• Maintain SQF, HACCP, FDA/USDA compliance.
• Lead GMP, hygiene, and allergen control; audits and improvements.
• Train and evaluate employees; promote teamwork and development.
• Coordinate with QA, Maintenance, Warehouse, Sanitation.
