Job summary

The Early Learning Coalition of Palm Beach County, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support high-quality early learning programs.

This role conducts on-site assessments, reviews compliance, and provides coaching to childcare providers under School Readiness, VPK, and CSC Scholarship programs. The position is designated as Telecommute/full-time with business hours at the Boynton Beach location from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and pays up to $25.00 per hour,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Three years related experience and/or training in childcare environment.
• Knowledge of best practices in childcare settings.
• Familiarity with childcare licensing standards.
• Valid Driver's license and auto insurance are required.

Responsibilities

• Conducts on-site programmatic assessments and monitoring of childcare providers in School Readiness, VPK and CSC Scholarship programs.
• Performs desk reviews and prepares reports with findings and recommendations.
• Provides on-site coaching and technical assistance to improve programs.
• Facilitates training to support providers to move from theory to practice.
• Conducts post-audit attendance reviews and reports.
• Organizes data for presentation in reports and documents.
• Investigates parent, provider and partner complaints.

Summary

This position is primarily responsible for the provision of quality improvement supports to child care providers participating in the School Readiness, Voluntary Prekindergarten and CSC Scholarship programs to promote high quality early learning opportunities for families. This position is responsible for conducting on- site programmatic assessments, compliance reviews and site monitoring.

Location and Hours

This position is designated as Telecommute. This is a full-time position, and business hours at the Boynton location is Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Pay

up to $25.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do

• Conducts on- site programmatic assessments and review monitoring of Childcare Providers in School Readiness, Voluntary Prekindergarten and/or the CSC Scholarship programs using approved program monitoring tools.
• Conducts consistent desk reviews in the monitoring of School Readiness, Voluntary Prekindergarten and /or CSC Scholarship providers.
• Prepares reports based on findings from monitoring's and makes recommendations on areas for improvement.
• Provides on-site coaching and technical assistance that result in program improvement.
• Facilitate formal and in-service training in adherence to provider agreements and as needed in the efforts to support providers to move from theory to practice.
• Assist in conducting post audit attendance reviews in accordance with established policies and procedures and prepares reports.
• Ability to organize data for presentation in reports, documents, and other written materials.
• Assists with all special assignments, research, and report preparation. Participates in the organization of special activities related to child care programs.
• Investigates parent, provider and partner complaints.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from an accredited four-year College or university in Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Health and Human Services or a related field, required.
• Three years related experience and/or training in childcare environment.
• Knowledge of best practices in a childcare setting.
• Familiarity with childcare licensing standards.
• Valid Driver's license and auto insurance are required.
