Job summary

Suvi, an Akima company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester to provide comprehensive testing for ServiceNow enhancements, integrations, and releases across multiple environments supporting approximately 2,000 users.

You will help develop test strategies, execute functional/integration/regression testing, and coordinate UAT while maintaining traceability and quality gates for all releases. A Secret clearance and IAT Level II certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance.
  • IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE or equivalent).
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent QA experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, QA, or IT quality management.
  • Experience testing ServiceNow configurations, workflows, integrations, or platform enhancements.
  • Knowledge of QA methodologies: functional, integration, regression, release validation.
  • Experience managing defects and maintaining traceability in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing test strategies, plans, scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain requirements-to-test traceability throughout development and releases.
  • Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and release testing for ServiceNow solutions.
  • Coordinate and support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Manage defects from identification through resolution and retesting of fixes.
  • Establish quality gates, release-readiness criteria, and testing checkpoints for releases.
  • Support automated testing using ServiceNow ATF where appropriate.
  • Validate deployment packages and configuration artifacts prior to release.
  • Report testing status, quality metrics, and release readiness to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate testing dependencies across developers, product owners, architects, and government teams.
  • Ensure ServiceNow configurations, customizations, and integrations follow best practices.

Job description

The Office of Inspector General (OIG), Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), provides comprehensive IT services supporting approximately 2,000 users across more than 60 global locations. OCIO sustains critical enterprise IT capabilities—including application services, mobile device management, IT asset management, domain services, network transport, and service desk operations to support the OIG mission.

The Quality Assurance (QA) Tester provides comprehensive testing and quality assurance support for ServiceNow platform enhancements, custom development, integrations, releases, and solution-delivery activities. This role ensures that deployed functionality meets Government requirements, aligns with platform standards, and maintains reliability, accuracy, and performance across all ServiceNow environments.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in developing master test strategies, detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist in maintaining complete requirements-to-test traceability throughout development and release cycles.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CAD, or testing‑related credentials.
  • Experience supporting federal IT programs.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, CSDM/CMDB, integrations, and workflow designs.
  • ISTQB certification.
Work Schedule:

This opportunity may offer hybrid and/or remote flexibility, providing options to work onsite, remotely, or a combination of both based on business and team requirements.

The base assignment period for this role is scheduled from October 6, 2026 - May 7, 2027
