Job summary

Seneca’s Monterey County COMPASS Program seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist/Program Assistant (QASPA) to ensure regulatory compliance and organize program documentation. The role collaborates with program staff to maintain high care standards and operational integrity while overseeing the program office operations.

The QASPA compiles client records, tracks required documents, handles billing workflows in EHR systems, and prepares audit-ready charts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 21 years of age and clearance requirements.
• Ability to manage and coordinate documents under HIPAA/CCL rules.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain client records per HIPAA, CCL and Seneca rules.
• Monitor and track required county health plan documentation.
• Communicate with treatment teams about corrections on documentation.
• Input and review billing invoices in EHR and submit to Accounting.
• Ensure timely distribution of Incident Reports.
• Process Record Requests per HIPAA and policy.
• Prepare charts for audits and accreditation surveys.
• Answer phones, manage PO's and mail for the program.
