Jobot is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA/QC in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment with emphasis on ASME/AWS standards, welding quality, inspection and regulatory compliance.

The role oversees QA from raw materials to finished products and builds a high‑performing quality assurance team. 5+ years in manufacturing QA, a B.S. in Engineering, and strong process improvement skills are required; CWI certification is highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required.
• AWS CWI and/or CRI certification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ASME/AWS standards and welding QC.

Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance within the manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished products. This includes developing and implementing quality control systems, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the development and implementation of quality control procedures and protocols to ensure production activities comply with all internal and external requirements.
• Lead the quality assurance team in conducting inspections and tests to ensure the quality of raw materials and finished products.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop best practices for the prevention of defects and the improvement of product quality.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the quality control systems to ensure they are effective and efficient.
• Review and analyze quality assurance data and prepare reports for senior management.
• Ensure all quality assurance activities comply with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
• AWS CWI and/or CRI certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality assurance role in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality control methods and standards.
• Experience with heat treatment processes and techniques.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficient in the use of quality control software and tools.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry regulations.
