Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a dedicated Manager, Quality Assurance to lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our Quality Management System across our logistics center network.

This leadership role reports to the VP, Safety, Security and Compliance and focuses on establishing product quality control plans and maintaining regulatory standards in pharmaceutical, food, and regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or 5 years of equivalent professional experience.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in an operations environment, with practical experience in food manufacturing, supply chain management, or related quality systems fields.
• Proven experience managing small teams and leading through influence.
• Regulatory knowledge: HACCP, cGMPs, FSMA, sanitation programs, pest control, internal audits, QA Management Systems, FDA/USDA/state requirements.
• Analytical, project management, time management, and organizational skills.
• Effective oral and written communication with management, colleagues, and customers.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to ~30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document product quality checks, frequencies, methods, and procedures for warehousing operations that build the criteria for a control plan.
• Deliver effective training and support on the Quality Management System (QMS), principles, and methodologies.
• Oversee system performance, monitor internal compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the network.
• Act as a change agent in supporting the growth of the continuous improvement culture and drive implementation of visual control management across facilities.
• Assist with third‑party audit preparations and manage corrective action plans.
• Manage and complete applicable licensing and registrations for CJ Logistics operations regarding pharmaceutical, food, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and develop quality system planning programs, including HACCP, SQF, and Food Defense plans.
