Job summary

Lennar in Pensacola is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee inspections of new homes, ensuring quality workmanship and compliance with local codes, standards, and safety protocols on every project.

You will document defects, coordinate with construction teams, train staff on best practices, and report findings with photographs to stakeholders, aiming for zero defects and exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Certification in construction codes preferred; strong plan reading.
• Experience in construction quality inspection is preferred.
• Knowledge of construction materials and building codes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough QA inspections of homes focusing on materials and workmanship.
• Ensure construction adheres to approved plans, specifications, local codes, and scopes of work.
• Identify and document defects, deviations, and non-compliance issues.
• Complete QA Acceptance as scheduled by the Construction Management Team.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, including photographs and reports, and communicate findings to contractors and stakeholders.
• Communicate inspection results, recommendations, and areas for improvement to community teams and customers.
• Stay informed on building codes and product specifications and provide training recommendations to improve quality standards and best practices.
• Conduct New Home Orientations with customers.
