Job summary

EMD Electronics in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the day-to-day quality activities of an analytical laboratory and support the QMS for US manufacturing.

You will own the ISO 9001 quality management system, guide QA and quality control colleagues, and coordinate audits, investigations, and improvement initiatives with manufacturing and customers. Travel will be less than 10% domestically.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or another engineering or life science discipline.
• 7+ years of combined experience in manufacturing and quality laboratory environments, including at least 2 years of people management.
• At least 2 years of experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems and audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day quality activities of an analytical laboratory.
• Own the ISO 9001 QMS and guide QA/QC colleagues.
• Coordinate audits, investigations, nonconforming product decisions, and risk reduction.
