Job summary

Hennigenclosuresystems in Rockford, IL seeks a Quality Assurance professional to ensure ISO 9001 compliance, inspect products, analyze quality data, and uphold delivery schedules.

You will train production staff on QA practices, monitor product flow, document inspections, identify root causes of non-conformances, generate performance reports, and lead corrective actions while maintaining 5S standards and a safe, efficient work environment.

Qualifications

  • BA or BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years manufacturing experience with ISO 9001 standards.
  • English reading ability.

Responsibilities

  • Supports Certification and compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Implement inspection and testing methods for products and production equipment.
  • Ensure products consistently meet established quality standards.
  • Compile, analyze, and report on quality data.
  • Maintain product delivery schedules.
  • Train and manage production line staff on quality assessment and production practices.
  • Monitor product flow through the manufacturing process to ensure accuracy.
  • Conduct and document detailed inspections of finished products against industry and company standards.
  • Identify, remove, and analyze non-conforming products to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Generate performance reports and recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain departmental 5S housekeeping standards

Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements:

Education: BA or BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience required

Experience: 5+ years’ experience in Manufacturing. Experience with ISO 9001 standards

Reading Ability: Must be able to read and understand English

  • Demonstrates familiarity with quality standards and processes to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Communicates information clearly and concisely in reports, meetings, and status updates.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of the product to perform accurate quality control assessments.
  • Exhibits a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Applies critical thinking and analytical skills to identify and resolve system flaws.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Maintains composure and productivity under pressure.
  • Consistently meets deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
  • Efficiently masters production sequences and quality standards
  • ERP and CRM experience a plus
