Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

Midcon Cables Company, a leading provider of cable and wire harness interconnect solutions for the Defense and Aerospace industry, has an immediate opening for a Quality Assurance Manager at our North Myrtle Beach, SC facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide managerial and technical leadership to the Quality Staff, including budgeting, planning, training, mentoring, and evaluating personnel.
2. Establish goals and coordinate all quality functions throughout the facility.
3. Oversee quality improvement programs to meet company goals and objectives.
4. Manage the Quality Management System, Document Control, and configuration management processes.

The successful candidate will be a results-oriented, self-driven leader with a minimum of ten years of industry experience and experience managing a Quality Team. A Bachelor's degree or a four-year technical degree with 5-10 years of related experience is required. Strong project management skills, especially in product and process methods such as APQP, Control Plans, FMEA, and AS-9102 First Article Inspection, are essential.

Experience with AS9100/ISO9001 Quality Management Systems and NADCAP controlled processes is desired. Additional attributes include Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt training, lead auditor certification, experience with Military Standards and Aerospace specifications, IPC standards, Root Cause Corrective Action systems, Statistical Process Control, and electrical/electronic production background. Must meet ITAR and EAR requirements.
