BVA Bears IT Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. This is a full-time, remote role with travel to other Government or Contractor facilities as required. The average workday is 8 hours, scheduled between 6:00am and 6:00pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Government Holidays, with core hours from 9am to 3pm.

The Quality Assurance Manager must be capable of maintaining and establishing processes for evaluating software and associated documentation.

The individual in this position performs the following tasks:

1. Determining resources required for quality control.
2. Maintaining quality throughout the software lifecycle.
3. Developing software quality assurance plans.
4. Conducting formal and informal reviews at predetermined points during the development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in quality assurance and quality control.
• 3+ years of experience in verification and validation, software testing and integration, software metrics, and their application to software quality assessment.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree preferred.
