Job description

Transdev in Baltimore, MD is hiring a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager monitors and evaluates contractor service compliance, operations performance, and operations compliance. We are seeking customer service-oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety.

  • Competitive compensation package of minimum $87,000 – maximum $98,000

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and monitor all activities related to organizational quality management in adherence to contractual and national standards.
  2. Direct the intake, compilation, and intra/inter-departmental coordination, documentation, resolution, and reporting of quality management activities.
  3. Ensure adherence to timeliness requirements for response, resolution, and reporting of complaints and grievances.
  4. Update and report activities to management in a consistent and timely manner.
  5. Oversee data gathering, reconciliation, and reporting.
  6. Ensure all submittals are accurate and submitted on time according to the contract.
  7. Perform random audits of maintenance DVIR and quality checks of all department records.
  8. Perform random audits of contractor performance, such as wash logs and fuel logs.
  9. Perform random audits with the Safety Manager of department requirements, including D&A compliance and BOCT logs.
  10. Audit subcontractor driver files for compliance with policies and laws related to D&A testing.
  11. Organize systematic data collection and analysis with other departments.
  12. Provide data and information to monitor and coordinate quality improvement, credentialing, and service outcomes.
  13. Monitor and evaluate contractor compliance and write oversight reports.
  14. Evaluate data using spreadsheets.
  15. Monitor compliance with operations contracts.
  16. Monitor driver schedule adherence, operator skills and appearance, and perform credential checks.
  17. Complete reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
  18. Perform other duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the contract and services.
  19. Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • At least 3 years of public transit experience required.
  • One or more years in a quality assurance role with responsibilities for ensuring compliance with contracts, labor agreements, and laws.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed.
  • Work environment includes both indoors and outdoors.
