Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead the QA department, ensuring ISO 9001:2015 compliant processes for manufactured products at our Durham location. You will drive QMS development, lead audits, and work with Engineering and Production to improve process quality and meet customer expectations.

The role requires 10+ years in quality and a strong background in manufacturing, with proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/IFS) and English communication. Local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management or a related field.
• 10+ years of directly related Quality Experience.
• Strong knowledge of Quality management systems and standards.
• Professional certification in Quality Assurance or Quality Management preferred.
• Strong Knowledge of ISO 9001: Certification as an experienced auditor preferred.
• Experience with manufacturing ERP systems (SAP or IFS preferred).
• Ability to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the QA department to ensure systems meet quality requirements and standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Manage and report quality performance metrics to leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Lead audits, 8D corrective actions, root cause analysis, and trend analysis.
• Drive continuous improvement in defects per unit (DPU) and process quality.
