Job summary

SIS is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the QA/QC functions and drive quality excellence across the organization. You will oversee the Quality Support Team and collaborate with Production, R&D, Sales, and Procurement to ensure compliance with customer specifications and ISO standards.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and expertise in QMS, audits, and corrective actions to continually improve manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in quality management, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Certifications such as ISO Lead Auditor, Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher), or Certified Quality Manager (CQM) desirable.
• 3–5 years of quality management experience in a manufacturing environment recommended.

Responsibilities

• Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Oversee supplier assurance programs, including validation and auditing of raw material suppliers; ensure preventive controls.
• Lead internal audits and manage root cause analyses, corrective actions, and preventive measures for quality issues.
• Serve as the leader for customer audits, ISO certification audits, and reassessment processes.
• Oversee training of shop employees and quality staff on reading work folders, interpreting prints, measuring parts, and maintaining quality records.
