Job summary

The QUIKRETE Companies in Johns Creek, GA seeks a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA/QC across raw materials to finished products, partnering with operations, engineering, and supply chain.

Responsibilities include driving CAPA, leading audits, and mentoring QA engineers while championing a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, materials science or related discipline.
• Advanced degree or commensurate training in six sigma and lean.
• 10+ years in Quality Assurance or related area.
• 2+ years managing QA Engineers and Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Use data and statistics to identify quality improvements.
• Apply RCA and CAPA to resolve issues and prevent recurrence.
• Set quality specs and QC protocols for materials and products.
• Review QC/QA test results for compliance with specs.
• Design lab experiments to qualify new materials and suppliers.
• Optimize formulations for performance and cost.
• Support plants with troubleshooting, QC training, and formula management.
• Lead manufacturing quality audits.
