Job summary

Quanta Government Solutions seeks a CQC System Manager to lead quality control on Rock Island projects. You will ensure QA plans, inspections, and test procedures meet requirements, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and drive continuous improvement.

The role emphasizes field oversight, documentation, and adherence to standards. Requirements include a graduate engineering degree and USACE CQM certification within the last five years, plus a Civil or Electrical engineering background

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and construction quality management knowledge.
• Experience with quality plans, inspections, and test reporting.
• Ability to document nonconformances and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as quality POC for site teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure implementation of QGS QA Plan and project quality requirements.
• Develop and control quality documents and records.
• Perform independent quality oversight and inspections.
• Verify testing, observers at hold/witness points, and acceptance criteria.
• Document deficiencies, track corrective actions, and report outcomes.
• Ensure M&TE is calibrated and traceable for use.
• Attend kickoff, walk-downs, progress and coordination meetings.
• Support audits, client surveillances, and lessons learned.
• Perform other duties to support QA/QC objectives.
