Job summary

Vector Talent Solutions is seeking a CQC System Manager for a client project site in the United States. The role oversees quality assurance for construction activities, coordinating inspections, tests, and nonconformance resolution to ensure adherence to plans and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a graduate degree in engineering or construction management, 10+ years on similar projects, and relevant certifications. The position requires travel and site access, with compensation DOE.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in engineering technology, architecture, or construction management.
• Engineering degree in civil or electrical engineering with at least two years of related experience.
• Completion of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management for Contractors course within the last five years.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to meet site access, orientation, badging, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the quality point of contact for the site project team and stakeholders.
• Implement QA Plan and project quality requirements.
• Develop, review, maintain, and control quality documentation and records.
• Perform independent quality surveillances, inspections, and field observations.
• Coordinate tests and inspections; review results and report defects.
• Ensure measuring and test equipment is calibrated and traceable.
• Participate in kickoff meetings, walkdowns, progress and safety meetings.
• Support audits, client surveillances, turnover documentation, and continuous improvement.
