Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Quality professional to join the Project Management Team across our Power market. You will report on quality performance including adherence to procedures, nonconformances, rework and corrective actions, and coordinate with customers and subcontractors.

You will help manage QA/QC activities, support audits, and promote the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System. Willingness to travel and relocate as projects require and to work across multiple districts.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and technical writing skills are required.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Ability to clearly communicate the status of quality on a project.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project management teams and engineers/clients.
• Examine and inspect field conditions and identify problems, inaccuracies and cost-saving measures; take corrective action.
• Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions to eliminate or minimize them.
• Maintain knowledge of the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification log and files for assigned districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
