Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an entry-level Quality professional to join the Project Management Team. You will report on quality performance, support QA and QC activities, and liaise with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to address quality issues.

Base compensation ranges from $77,000 to $86,000 per year and includes a comprehensive benefits package. Responsibilities include supporting the Quality Department and applying the Kiewit/TIC Quality Management System across districts.

Qualifications

• Four years’ engineering or science degree or technical college degree with two years’ related construction experience
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship
• Ability to clearly communicate project quality status
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical matters
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; quick to learn new software
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks with deadlines

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project teams and engineers/clients
• Examine field conditions, identify issues, and take corrective action
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions
• Maintain knowledge of the Quality Management System and promote standardization
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs and files for districts
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports
