Job summary

Kiewit’s TIC Power division seeks a quality-focused professional to report to management on project quality performance. You will lead quality assurance and control activities, liaise with customers, vendors, and subcontractors, and support continuous improvement across districts.

Travel to various project sites is required. The role demands an engineering or science degree with construction field experience, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of engineering or science degree or technical college degree plus two years’ experience in related construction field.
• Ability to clearly communicate project quality status.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, strong technical writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain effective communications with district management, project teams and clients.
• Inspect field conditions, identify problems, and take corrective actions.
• Identify safety hazards and implement corrective actions to minimize risk.
• Maintain knowledge of the Quality Management System and promote standardization.
• Manage Welding Procedure Specification logs and files for districts.
• Assist in conducting project quality audits and reports.
