Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks a Quality Engineer to strengthen its Quality Management System across a diverse, technically complex portfolio.

You will embed quality into processes from project inception through execution, including audits of internal operations, suppliers, and project activities. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in regulated environments, a BS in engineering or sciences, Lead Auditor experience (NQA-1 preferred), and proficiency with ISO 9001; some senior roles may be remote

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline or equivalent technical training/work experience.
6+ years of quality assurance experience in regulated or engineering consulting environments.
Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes and suppliers preferred.
Lead Auditor experience and ISO 9001 knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Plan and perform internal audits and external supplier audits and surveillance as a Lead Auditor; enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work.
Review purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure quality requirements flow-down.
Review and improve quality procedures; support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and QA program.
Prepare, issue, and manage Corrective Action Reports; perform root cause analysis and verify effectiveness.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
