Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a scientific discipline or equivalenttechnical training/work experience.
• 6+ years of quality assurance experience in regulated or engineering consulting environments.
• Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes, and suppliers.
• Lead Auditor experience; NQA-1 qualification preferred.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Auditing & Compliance: Plan and perform internal audits and external supplier audits and surveillances as a certified Lead Auditor; enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work when necessary.
• Contract & Requirement Review: Review purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure flow-down of quality requirements.
• Quality Systems & Procedures: Review, revise, and improve quality procedures; support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and QA program.
• Corrective Action & Root Cause: Prepare, issue, and manage Corrective Action Reports; perform or support causal analysis and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
