Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality Management System across a diverse portfolio of projects. The role emphasizes auditing internal operations, suppliers, and project execution, with preference for nuclear quality experience but strong auditing of regulated environments is valued.

This position can be based in any EnerCON office and may be remote within the US for senior-level candidates, with a salary range of USD 90,000 to 145,000 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline or equivalent technical training/work experience.
• 6+ years of quality assurance experience in highly regulated or engineering consulting-driven environments.
• Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes, suppliers.
• Lead Auditor experience; NQA-1 qualification highly preferred; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Auditing & Compliance: Plan and perform internal audits and external supplier audits and surveillances as a certified Lead Auditor.
• Contract & Requirement Review: Review purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure appropriate flow-down of quality requirements.
• Quality Systems & Procedures: Review, revise, and improve quality procedures supporting the quality system, engineering, and project management.
• Corrective Action & Root Cause: Prepare, issue, and manage Corrective Action Reports and verify corrective action effectiveness.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
