Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen the Quality Management System across a diverse portfolio of projects. The role emphasizes auditing internal operations, suppliers, and project execution activities to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a scientific discipline or equivalent technical training/work experience.
6+ years of quality assurance experience in highly regulated or engineering consulting environments.
Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes, and suppliers.
Must have knowledge of standards such as 10 CFR Part 21, 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B, ASME/ANSI NQA-1, ISO 9001.
Lead Auditor experience; NQA-1 qualification preferred; ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Auditing & Compliance: Plan and perform internal audits and external supplier audits and surveillances as a Lead Auditor; enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work when needed.
Contract & Requirement Review: Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure quality requirements flow down.
Quality Systems & Procedures: Review and improve quality procedures; support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and QA Program.
Corrective Action & Root Cause: Prepare and manage Corrective Action Reports; perform or support causal analysis and verify effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
