Job summary

ENERCON is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeks a Quality Engineer to strengthen the Quality Management System across a diverse portfolio of work. You will embed quality into processes, decisions, and deliverables from project inception through execution.

This role supports auditing internal operations and suppliers, reviews contracts, drives corrective actions, and collaborates across engineering, project management, and procurement to resolve quality issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
3+ years in quality assurance in regulated/engineering environments.
Experience auditing design packages, processes, and suppliers.
Lead Auditor certification and NQA-1 familiarity preferred.
US citizenship due to federal contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Auditing & Compliance: Plan and perform internal and supplier audits and surveillances as a Lead Auditor.
Contract & Requirement Review: Ensure flow-down of quality requirements in contracts and PO's.
Quality Systems & Procedures: Review and improve quality procedures; support QMS & QA program.
Corrective Action & Root Cause: Manage CAPRs and analyze root causes for effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations.
