Upbound Group in Draper, Utah is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional to monitor processes, test products, and identify defects to ensure top quality and regulatory compliance. In-office, Monday–Friday, with cross-location collaboration as needed.

The role emphasizes rigorous testing, documentation, and collaboration with developers and operations to verify fixes and improve product design. A bachelor’s degree and 2–5+ years of QA/technical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2–5+ years of experience in a QA, testing, or manufacturing/technical role.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with data tools, root-cause analysis, and statistical process control.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to write clear technical reports and train team members.
• Meticulous habits to spot minor discrepancies that could impact the final user or product safety.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and Inspect: Review production workflows, test software code, or inspect physical goods to catch errors early
• Develop Standards: Help create and implement quality control protocols, testing plans, and safety guidelines
• Track and Report: Document bugs, non-conformances, and test results accurately; Prepare routine performance reports for management
• Root Cause Analysis: Investigate product defects or system failures to find the core problem and prevent future occurrences
• Collaborate: Work closely with developers, engineers, and operations teams to verify fixes and improve overall product design
• Compliance: Ensure all processes align with industry regulations and standards
