Job summary

Keenfinity Group in Fairport, NY seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer to verify hardware, firmware, and software throughout the product lifecycle. You will review requirements, craft test plans, run manual tests, and ensure traceability from requirements to results.

You will partner with engineering, product, automation, and QA teams to build scalable regression testing and ensure regulatory and performance expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of quality assurance, verification and validation, systems testing, or product testing.
• Experience developing test plans, procedures, and cases from requirements.
• Strong understanding of software and hardware testing methodologies.
• Experience executing structured manual testing activities.
• Ability to analyze requirements and translate to test coverage.
• Experience documenting and managing defects.

Responsibilities

• Review product, system, and regulatory requirements for testability and traceability.
• Develop verification strategies to demonstrate compliance.
• Create and maintain requirements traceability from requirements to tests and defects.
• Develop and maintain test plans, procedures, and cases for hardware, firmware, and software.
• Execute manual verification and validation testing and document results.
• Identify regression opportunities and work with automation teams to enable regression tests.
• Collaborate across engineering, quality, and product teams and report status.
