Job summary

BPG-Arrowhead Winch in Broken Arrow, OK, seeks a Quality Assurance Director to lead quality across two plants and advance a prevention-focused culture. You will drive ISO 9001 compliance, supplier and customer quality, and new-product readiness with operations and engineering teams.

The role requires 7–10 years in quality leadership, strong GD&T, Lean/Six Sigma, and data-driven problem solving. On-site requirement with travel between facilities; competitive benefits package provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Seven to ten years of quality leadership in ISO 9001 manufacturing, including machining and assembly, multi-site supervision, and team development.
• Proven success building a quality-first culture, coaching frontline teams, and reducing recurring defects through prevention and accountability.
• Ability to interpret part and assembly drawings; working knowledge of metrology and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
• Practical experience with Lean/Six Sigma, structured root-cause analysis, and corrective-action effectiveness verification.
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC), Gage R&R, process capability, PFMEA, and control plans, including methods suited to low-volume, high-mix production.
• Strong analytical, technical, leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively with customers.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Quality Department across Broken Arrow and Okmulgee plants.
• Promote quality at the source with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing, and frontline teams.
• Oversee ISO 9001 QMS, customer and supplier quality, corrective action, and measurement systems.
• Manage traceability, warranty analysis, and new-product readiness.
• Set quality strategy and yearly goals aligned with business priorities and customer requirements.
• Standardize quality procedures, controls, audits, and ISO 9001 management reviews.
• Improve defect prevention through process controls, in-process checks, and mistake-proofing.
