Job summary

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in quality leadership in precision manufacturing, CQE/CQM, and AS9100 experience, with strong communication and team management skills.

Qualifications

• B.S. in an Engineering discipline required; MS or MBA degree is highly desirable
• Minimum of 10+ years in quality within a low-to-medium volume precision production manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated director-level or senior management experience
• CQE and/or CQM certification; composite and metallic fabrication experience

Responsibilities

• Direct and stabilize the daily activities of the Quality Department
• Drive zero-defect quality planning and inspection methodologies
• Own the NCMR/MRB process and disposition decisions
• Ensure customer quality expectations communicated from spec to shop floor
• Lead corrective actions and countermeasures for complaints
• Maintain AS9100 QMS readiness and compliance
• Oversee R&O function and close-out of orders
