Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is hiring a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the QA team in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems across products and processes.

The role focuses on GMP compliance, audit participation, documentation control, and cross‑department collaboration to ensure food safety and quality standards are met.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Enforces safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and related activities.
  • Assist in customer complaints investigation and corrective action process.
  • Interact with other supervisors/managers to share best practices.
  • Assist in monitoring programs as pertains to distribution and processing; uphold GMP.
  • Assist with QMS programs, pest management, and TraceGains documentation.
  • Be part of internal audits and food safety/GMP audits.
  • Maintain the food safety plan and update SOPs as required.
  • Support quality system, quality policy, and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with Food Safety and Quality Programs including GMP, Organic and cGMP.
  • Participate in audits and track findings.

Job Purpose:

The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the Quality Assurance team with developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability for the organization’s products and/or development processes.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.
  • Assist in customer complaints investigation and corrective action process.
  • Interact with other supervisors/managers within RJW to share best practices.
  • Assisting in monitoring current programs in quality assurance as it pertains to distribution and processing as well as uphold the tenants of GMP.
  • Assisting with QMS programs, review integrated pest management system, and documentation compliance in Tracegains system.
  • Be a part of the internal audit team and participates actively in the scheduled food safety and facility GMP audits.
  • Be a part of the food safety team, assists with maintaining the food safety plan and updates SOPs as required.
  • Performs activities to support the quality system, quality policy, quality procedures, work procedures.
  • Assisting with maintaining compliance of all Food Safety and Quality Programs including GMP, Organic and cGMP.
  • Participate in and lead, where appropriate, internal and external audits or visits and prioritize, assign and track the audit findings for completion.
  • Documentation control and creation. This includes updating, reviewing, and assistance in evaluation of current and prop
  • Assisting maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of CFR for food, OTC, Medical Devices, Cosmetics and Dietary Supplements for warehouse and transportation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Alchemy, Tracegains, Sedex, and other software.
  • Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
  • Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments, customers, and auditors.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
  • Collaborates well with others, proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.
  • Be able to lead and train current and new members.
Qualifications Required
  • High School Diploma
  • 3-5 years of working in quality assurance
  • 3-5 years of working in a GMP facility (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
  • SQF and HACCP certifications required
