Job summary

RJW Logistics Group is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support our QA team in developing, implementing, and maintaining systems ensuring quality and reliability for our distribution processes.

The role emphasizes GMP compliance, audits, and collaboration with multiple departments to uphold food safety and quality standards across our operations. The position is onsite with first-shift hours and a pay rate of $27 per hour.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • 3–5 years of experience in a GMP facility (preferred).
  • SQF and HACCP certifications required.
  • Strong communication and attention to detail with auditors and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Understand, follow, and enforce safety, health, GMP policies and company procedures.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and corrective actions.
  • Assist in customer complaints investigations and corrective actions.
  • Lead and participate in internal and external audits.
  • Maintain QMS documentation and support traceability and compliance.

Job Purpose:The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the Quality Assurance team with developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability for the organization’s products and/or development processes.


Supervisory Responsibilities:



  • None


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Understands, follows, and enforces all established safety, health, quality GMP and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities as assigned.

  • Assist in customer complaints investigation and corrective action process.

  • Interact with other supervisors/managers within RJW to share best practices.

  • Assisting in monitoring current programs in quality assurance as it pertains to distribution and processing as well as uphold the tenants of GMP.

  • Assisting with QMS programs, review integrated pest management system, and documentation compliance in Tracegains system.

  • Be a part of the internal audit team and participates actively in the scheduled food safety and facility GMP audits.

  • Be a part of the food safety team, assists with maintaining the food safety plan and updates SOPs as required.

  • Performs activities to support the quality system, quality policy, quality procedures, work procedures.

  • Assisting with maintaining compliance of all Food Safety and Quality Programs including GMP, Organic and cGMP.

  • Participate in and lead, where appropriate, internal and external audits or visits and prioritize, assign and track the audit findings for completion.

  • Documentation control and creation. This includes updating, reviewing, and assistance in evaluation of current and prop

  • Assisting maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:



  • Knowledge of CFR for food, OTC, Medical Devices, Cosmetics and Dietary Supplements for warehouse and transportation.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Alchemy, Tracegains, Sedex, and other software.

  • Ability to maintain close attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.

  • Computer usage and typing skills are essential.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments, customers, and auditors.

  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

  • Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.

  • Collaborates well with others, proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.

  • Be able to lead and train current and new members.


Qualifications Required:
