Job summary

JEVS Human Services is hiring a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure regulatory adherence across Financial Management Services programs. You will audit records, monitor program operations, and drive corrective actions with staff involvement.

The role requires two years of QA or related experience, HIPAA knowledge, and strong analytical/communication skills. Expect collaborative work across departments and documentation aligned with standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Minimum of two years in quality assurance, compliance, auditing, healthcare administration, human services, or related fields.
• Experience with HIPAA compliance, fraud prevention, quality improvement initiatives, or regulatory audits.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, OneDrive, Outlook, and Teams.
• Experience with electronic medical records, participant databases, payroll systems, and document management systems.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of federal/state/payer requirements for FMS programs.
• Conducts audits of participant, attendant, payroll, enrollment, compliance, and admin records.
• Identifies deficiencies and works with staff to implement corrective actions.
• Monitors activities for adherence to policies, standards, HIPAA, and regulations.
• Reviews outgoing reports and corrective action plans before submission.
• Audits electronic systems and databases (CellTrak, Netsmart, Sendata, payroll, document management).
• Maintains detailed records of audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
