Bain Capital in Boston is seeking an IT Intern to assist testing and validation for applications under the Capital Markets group. You will work with Development and QA teams, follow established processes, and help drive continuous improvements across QA, testing, and documentation.
This internship offers exposure to test planning, metrics reporting, master test plans, and collaboration with offshore teams. A current IT degree and strong attention to detail are preferred.

The Capital Markets Group is seeking an IT Intern to help with testing and validation efforts for applications directly supported under the Capital Markets Group. Reporting to IT, the Intern will assist in various testing assignments as well as documentation efforts relating to application support in the Capital Markets group. The Intern will work closely with the Development teams as well as Centralized QA team, and will follow internally defined processes and directives. In addition, the goal of this role is to drive transformation/ and continuous improvement efforts across the QA function for Capital Markets. Other duties is to help with metrics reporting, test planning, documentation and testing/validation of business applications and consuming reports. In addition, work with QA Director to update Quality Center test plan folders, update test cases and ensure there are defined Master Test plans for all key areas across Capital Markets.
Expected Hourly Rate of Pay $25.00 – 27.00. Actual hourly rate of pay will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to role, function, level, experience, qualifications and geographic location.
