Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or business is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or business is desired.
• 1+ year in IT or software testing is preferred.
• Certifications in software testing are desirable.
• Exposure to the insurance industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing including exploratory, functional, non-functional, regression, and system integration testing.
• Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans and automated test scripts.
• Assist with release management activities and communication.
• Assist project team during acceptance criteria and definition of done discussions.
• Participate in project planning to determine testing scope and estimates.
• Identify, report, prioritize, and track defects and verify fixes.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and communicate with project managers and team members.
• Utilize tools and procedures to monitor and supplement testing (manual and automated).
• Compile test results and communicate with project team members.
