Concord Insurance Group in New England seeks an Associate Quality Analyst to evaluate and test software applications. You will write, execute, and maintain manual test cases to verify functionality against user requirements and guidelines.

You will coordinate testing phases, review results in defect tracking tools, and mentor colleagues while working under general supervision to support professional growth and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required (may be waived by prior education and experience).
• Proficient with Quality Assurance principles and tools.
• Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to learn and use software tools.
• Organize data, make independent decisions, communicate clearly, and carry out complex instructions both oral and written.
• Meet established schedules and deadlines in an organized manner.
• Willingness to work outside normal business hours.

Responsibilities

• Understand company software applications.
• Read, analyze and interpret business requirements.
• Analyze and write test plans.
• Document test results.
• Create and update manual test cases.
• Conduct manual testing of software applications.
• Review test results and report in a defect tracking tool.
• Create, update and design data for use with automated test scripts.
• Coordinate the testing phase of projects involving manual test cases.
• Mentor and train associates.
