Description

The Quality and Risk Management Clinical Specialist will:

• Act as the lead clinical staff member in Quality, Risk and Compliance department, carrying out a variety of quality and patient safety functions to support the hospitals quality and safety plan and programs.
• Use clinical nursing knowledge and abilities in data review, to help ensure the continuous evolution of quality and safe care.

Please note: This role is 100% on-site and requires employees to work four 6-hour shifts each week.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or certificate from an accredited school of nursing
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing (preferred)
• 2 years of clinical experience
• Demonstrated skills in participating in and/or leading quality initiatives in a hospital setting (preferred)
• Active Vermont Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing or compact state RN license in good standing. (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.)
• Effective people skills, teamwork, and communication
• Current in Vermont nursing standards, as applicable

Salary Range: The base rate for this position is $35.84 - $52.21 per hour. The hourly range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the position. The rate for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate.
