Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Clyde, OH is seeking a Quality Analyst to lead quality improvements across manufacturing processes and design parameters. You will implement quality control programs to respond to internal and external customer quality concerns and drive continuous improvement with your team of technicians.

Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, coordinating shifts to execute quality plans, and applying problem-solving methodologies to reduce defects while supporting production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 6+ months of manufacturing experience (co-ops or internships)
• 2 years of quality/engineering experience in a manufacturing facility (preferred)
• OpEx or Six Sigma Black Belt certification (preferred)
• PFMEA, Control Plan, and CPk/CPM experience

Responsibilities

• Solve problems with product quality using root cause analysis and implementing countermeasures
• Coordinate technician activities across all shifts to complete critical quality control reaction plans including hold orders and reworks
• Quality control continuous improvement activities and problem solving methodology
