Job summary

Whirlpool Corporation in Greenville, Ohio seeks a Senior Analyst, Quality Generalist to lead quality improvements onsite. You will drive World Class Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, coordinate audits, validate processes, and ensure strict SPC/MSA application to achieve Zero Defects.

Responsibilities include leading PFMEA, control plans, and collaboration with Process/Product Engineering and suppliers for pre-production validation, with a focus on rapid issue resolution and robust quality

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment.
3+ years leading continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 8D, PDCA, Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

Lead and drive continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
Follow up on internal and external audits and ensure quality system compliance.
Lead preparation and maintenance of Control Plans and PFMEA documentation.
Provide operational support with process owners and equip operators with inspection tools.
Collaborate with Process/Product Engineering and Suppliers for validation of equipment and lines before release to production.
Oversee MSA studies and monitor equipment variability.
Lead Fast Response meetings and GEMBA walks to evaluate defects and customer returns.
Monitor KPIs such as FPY and CAL/SIR to improve quality performance.
Manage Poka-Yoke devices and ensure proper operation and monitoring.
Identify critical SPC characteristics and ensure data recording and timely countermeasures.
Authorize line stops when non-conformances threaten product quality.
