Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Kinston, NC is seeking a compassionate Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and medication‑assisted treatment team. You will provide care for adults and youths with mental health and substance use challenges in a community setting.

The role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with full benefits and growth opportunities. A valid license in substance use or related certs is required, and experience with EHR systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related Human Services field.
  • Full or provisional Substance Use licensure or certification (LCASA, CADC, AP/CPSS).
  • Dual licensure preferred.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or being technically savvy.
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation for work‑related travel.

At Easterseals PORT Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health, and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Mental Health Qualified Professional to join our multidisciplinary outpatient therapy and medication‑assisted treatment team to provide support to adults and youths in Kinston, NC.

Responsibilities
  • Provide screening, evaluation, diagnostic assessments, and develop client‑centered treatment goals and personalized plans for adults and youths.
  • Deliver stabilization and treatment services to mental health and substance‑using clients.
  • Offer after‑care and referral services as part of outpatient treatment.
Benefits & Compensation
  • Competitive salary: $18.00 – $24.00 per hour.
