Waters of New Castle is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications under nursing supervision in a residential care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active state QMA license.
• Excellent communication with residents and families.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience with medication administration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Administer oral medications and PRN meds under nurse supervision.
• Administer inhalers and nebulizer treatments as directed by the nurse.
• Apply topical, nasal, eye, and ear medications and non‑invasive treatments.
• Observe residents for drug reactions and document in MAR.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and maintain the medication cart.
• Report to the nurse on duty with medication responses and treatment notes.
• Attend mandatory meetings and med pass audits.
• Assist with lifting, moving, and transferring residents.
