Job summary

The Waters in Indiana is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will follow safety protocols, monitor residents, and document treatments in the MAR.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have current QMA, unencumbered state license and must be able to provide all necessary documentation.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, PRN with nurse authorization, inhalers, topical/rectal forms).
• Observe residents for drug reactions and report concerns to the nurse.
• Monitor vital signs and document medication administration on MAR.
• Communicate with nurse on duty and follow instructions for PRN meds.
• Audit documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
