Job summary

The Waters is hiring Qualified Medication Aides (QMAs) in Indiana. QMAs will administer medications under nurse supervision, observe residents for reactions, monitor vital signs, and document administrations on MAR charts. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current QMA license valid in Indiana and able to provide documentation.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications under nurse supervision.
• Observe residents for drug reactions and report to nurse promptly.
• Monitor residents' vital signs and document findings.
• Calculate medication dosages and stock the medication cart.
• Document medications given on the MAR chart.
• Report to the nurse on duty with response to treatments.
• Audit documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
