Job summary

Watersofbatesville is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications and assist with resident care under supervision of a licensed nurse. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current QMA license in the state of Indiana.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications with safety techniques under nurse supervision.
• Observe and report residents' responses to medications and treatments.
• Calculate dosages and maintain MAR documentation.
• Assist with lifts, transfers, and daily resident care as required.
• Attend mandatory meetings and in-services.
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership.
