Job summary

Applegreen is seeking a General Manager for a QSR located inside a travel plaza on a major highway. You will lead the daily operations, drive sales, ensure food safety, and coach a dedicated team to meet financial and service targets.

The role requires strong leadership, budget management, and a commitment to brand standards in a fast-paced environment. A dynamic, on-site work schedule is involved.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a supervisor or unit-level manager in a quick service restaurant.
• Available to work a flexible on-site schedule approximately 50 hours per week including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to stand and walk for an extended period of time; frequently bend, twist, lift and carry at least 20 pounds.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day QSR operations and profitability.
• Lead a team to meet sales, speed, customer satisfaction, brand standards, and food safety standards.
• Manage budgets, inventory, and labor costs; monitor gross profit and reporting.
• Recruit, train, and retain staff; coach performance and development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal laws; handle customer issues professionally.
• Collaborate with Brand Partners, Human Resources, Loss Prevention, Finance, and Facilities & Maintenance.
